Twelve palaces: where the gift is, where the live wire is.
A Chinese natal. Birth becomes twelve rooms: work, money, the person you love.
Same family: one palace runs, another keeps catching. It names the stage, not a written ending.

Where it comes from
People say Song scholars put it together. Ming books set the twelve palaces and fourteen main stars. That is the chart still used. In Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia, people still read it. A zodiac animal names a year. This chart can show why two siblings live different lives.
What people use it for
One sibling’s career palace runs; another’s relationship palace keeps catching. The chart says the gift and the live wire in the same breath. Softening the hard side is not the tradition.

FAQ
Is this accurate?
Zi Wei Dou Shu is a structured system with real, testable rules — not a vague guess. But no chart reading, from any system, can be checked against the future like a lab result. Use it the way people have for a thousand years: as a sharp, structured way to think about your life, not a guarantee of what happens next.
I don't know my exact birth time — can I still get a chart?
You'll get more out of it with a real birth hour, because the whole chart is built around it. If you're not sure, ask family who were there, or check any paperwork from your birth. Even an approximate hour is a starting point, and you can always update it later.
Is this fatalistic — does it mean my life is fixed?
No. A chart reads your starting conditions, not your ending. It's closer to a weather forecast for your tendencies — useful for knowing what to prepare for, not a locked-in outcome. What you do with that information is still yours to decide.
